Special Invent #1: Craftform Games!

The Platform organized a ridiculously fun day of playing board games in Market Square on Saturday May 12th from 10AM till 3:00 PM. It was a fundraiser in which folks can come out and play games that have been crafted or adapted by artists (and other creative types), and bid on them through a silent auction.  While you played, we spun a wheel, and players could win one of several prizes donated by our lovely local business sponsors!  There were gift certificates, antique games, hand-crafted items and more!

We played some artist renditions of classic games like Chess, Checkers, Crokinole and Guess Who, as well as some inventive new games created just for the event.  Something for everyone!

Excited at the idea of creating or adapting a game?  Let us know and maybe we’ll host another games day in the future – send a message to jennyplatform@gmail.com.

Check out some of the great games we played in the gallery below!
